"Great men are born to lead" and so the birth of Mr. Suresh Dayaram Patil in an affluent agriculturist family of Nagad, Kannad in Maharashtra on 11th October 1935, was the beginning of great things to come. Mr. Suresh Dayaram Patil did not rest on his laurels as a social worker, but dreamt of contributing better values to the society. Thus began a vision to endow the people with quality educational facilities in all fields. Rashtriya Charitable Trust’s journey began with "THE HONERABLE SURESH DAYARAM PATIL Sir." The Chairman of Aurangabad District Central Co-Operative Bank, Aurangabad, who sowed the seed of education in Aurangabad, Maharashtra in 1991 through establishment of Rashtriya Charitable Trust with a motto; “Empowerment through Knowledge". After three decades, today we witness that the seed has bloomed into a vast tree with its branches spread all over in Aurangabad district. This expansion could happen only due to his philanthropic spirit. Today, there are over 23 academic institutions of international repute, from kindergarten to post graduation in the varied disciplines of education. There are Ten thousand students studying and One thousand teaching and non-teaching staff members working under the banner of Rashtriya Charitable Trust. Almost Thirty thousand students have passed out from this prestigious banner.
